Rainy day? No problem!

Although we don't have much pull with Mother Nature, we do have a few suggestions for when you want to give her a one-fingered salute.

• ​Puzzles (we've got some great puzzles in the games box beneath the TV)

• Board games (same place as the puzzles!)

• Nova Scotia word-search (on the coffee table in the living room)

• Catch up on your Zzz!

• Curl up with a good book

• Enjoy the sound of the rain on the metal roof

• Art galleries (and there's a ton in the area!)

• ​Snuggle into the perfect chair at one of many local coffee shops

  • The Barn (Mahone Bay)​

  • Laughing Whale Coffee Roasters (Lunenburg)

• Don your slicker and check out the surf at local beaches (not only for the fearless)
